Instantaneous self-consumption

Take advantage of solar energy as an unlimited source of power to optimise the efficiency of your installation, reduce your grid consumption and maximise your savings.

The drop in solar photovoltaic installation costs, combined with rising electricity costs for consumers in recent years, as well as commitments made to national and international bodies, have increased the use of self-consumption installations in many parts of the world.

The main goal of self-consumption systems is to encourage the use of renewable energy sources and thus save money on energy consumption, as well as to reduce the impact of greenhouse gas emissions by taking an additional step towards the energy transition by generating clean energy on-site.

Electrical self-consumption

Reduce your electric bill by generating your own energy

Save on your electric bill by generating clean energy with self-consumption systems, ensuring zero feed-in to the grid or taking advantage of the surplus to supply it to the distribution grid.

Use Circutor's PV kits to start up as soon as possible. These kits already feature the assembly and protection elements needed based on the selected power.

Avoid grid feed-in

Consume your own electricity without supplying a single kW to the electric grid

Only consume the electricity your installation demands, and avoid supplying anything to the grid by controlling the photovoltaic energy produced. The implementation of the CDP-0 device ensures that no electricity will be supplied to the grid. It does so by monitoring both consumption and photovoltaic generation and constantly adjusting the latter based on consumption.

Managing hybrid installations

Manage your hybrid generation installation

Fully manage your power generation system by combining photovoltaic production with that provided by your auxiliary generator. The system automatically regulates the energy delivered by each system to the actual consumption in order to adjust the generation based on the instantaneous consumption.

Opportunity

The energy transition, incentivised by the vast majority of international governments, relies on self-consumption as an effective solution, the key driver in the new energy revolution.

Self-consumption of renewable electricity

Save on your electricity bill by using your own renewable energy

Solar PV energy is one of the most economical and reliable renewable sources on the market today. The constantly rising price of electricity, together with the drop in the prices of the components that make up a photovoltaic installation, is resulting in a direct increase in the implementation of these systems.

The architecture of the self-consumption system is based on the installation of a DPC that can monitor the energy generated and the energy demanded by the installation, such that the system can detect the amount of energy required and control the inverter based on the demand.

If the amount generated is lower than that demanded by the loads on the installation, the system will combine energy from the PV installation and the grid. However, if the consumption of the installation is lower than the energy generated, the CDP controller will send a signal to the photovoltaic inverter to reduce generation to only that needed to cover the actual consumption, and avoid feeding the surplus into the distribution grid.

Installation management

CDP Controller

The Dynamic Power Controller (CDP) constantly adjusts the maximum power produced by the photovoltaic inverters to match the instantaneous power consumed in the installation. This guarantees that no surplus energy is injected into the grid, or that the system injects only that fraction of power permitted by each country's legislation.

Two installation types

Zero feed-in to the grid

CDP-0

Ensures that no electricity will be supplied to the grid. It does so by monitoring both consumption and photovoltaic generation and constantly adjusting the latter based on consumption.

Hybrid grid control

CDP-DUO

The system automatically adjusts the energy delivered by the PV system, in conjunction with the auxiliary generator, to match the actual consumption of the installation in order to adjust the generation based on the instantaneous consumption.

PV-Monitor energy manager

  • Detection of low performance ratio (yield index) in the PV installation
  • Instantaneous energy balance of consumption compared to PV generation
  • Self-consumption percentage calculation for the current month (solar fraction)
  • General alarms for the PV installation to warn of abnormal operation (email notifications)
  • Reduction in energy consumed from the electrical network
  • Reduced atmospheric CO2 emissions.

Zero feed-in

Set up your system to avoid supplying excess electricity to the grid

By installing an instantaneous self-consumption system, the operator or owner of an installation or building can consume the energy produced by the different photovoltaic panels while avoiding feeding any of the electricity to the grid. This is achieved by installing the CDP-0 device, which compares the consumption of your installation to the solar energy generated. If the consumption of the installation is lower than the energy generated, the CDP-0 controller will send a signal to the inverter to reduce generation to only that needed to cover the actual consumption, and avoid feeding the surplus into the distribution grid.
Circutor offers photovoltaic kits that adapt to each situation to make the most of the sun’s energy, optimising solar energy efficiency, simplifying management and maximising the cost reduction.

CDP-0

Features zero feed-in to avoid injecting any electricity from your installation to the distribution grid. Use all the energy generated for your own consumption, and avoid having to register your connection point.
