Installing power analyzers is useful for recording measurements, ranging from currents, voltages, energy consumption, and power, to the harmonics generated by the loads.
It is the ideal instrument for measuring all these energy parameters and quantifying the energy demand, understanding the operation of the installation, and seeing what actions can be taken to optimize consumption, avoid penalties and detect anomalous or inefficient consumption.
Circutor's new CVM-D50 is here to evolve power analyzers, taking over from our historic best-selling CVM-E3-MINI and bringing it to a new level, refined and adapted to new technologies.
The new CVM-D50 power analyzer monitors and records over 250 electrical variables in real time so you can analyze your energy consumption and identify any anomalies in your system early. From voltage, current, frequency and power factor, to voltage and current harmonics (up to the 31st), the CVM-D50 captures detailed data to diagnose power quality. It detects anomalies such as voltage spikes and dips, and timestamps the readings for subsequent analysis.
With Ethernet, built-in Wi-Fi and a web server, the CVM-D50 lets you configure parameters, download records in .csv format and monitor the installation from any mobile device or PC. Thanks to its Wi-Fi Access Point, you can configure the device parameters using the free MyConfig app on your mobile or tablet, without needing to physically access the device. It also features an integrated web server that allows you to configure, view, and download the device’s variables from any web browser.
The CVM-D50 power analyzer has an integrated 40-day memory. It stores data for more than one month locally without relying on external connections, an ideal resource for remote installations. All these readings can also be exported to share with technical or audit teams.
This system can be used to fix common errors during installation, such as remotely modifying the current direction of the measurement transformers or the voltage phase correlation. The wiring can be adjusted in just one click using the MyConfig app or the web server, without the need to physically interact with the device, avoiding penalties for erroneous power or reactive energy measurements. The autowiring system warns of potential wiring faults and lets you adjust the position of the voltage and current measurement phases to avoid errors in power, energy, power factor, and power factor readings.
The device comes in several versions depending on the type of transformer and installation: It allows the installation of ...5A or .../1A transformers, whether closed or split core, the installation of MC1 transformers for single-phase lines or loads and MC3 for three phases, or the use of flexible clamps for installations where it is not possible to interrupt the supply.
