INFORMATION

Description

MT-TSD series automatic switch with remote control for currents from 80 to 630A, with both 3 and 4 poles.
Provides short-circuit and overload protection, and is also used as a circuit breaker, as it features a trigger coil for use with a differential relay.

The switch can be reconnected in two ways, depending on how the operation mode is set in the motor group:

  • “MANU”: done manually on the switch itself by turning it to OFF and then ON.
  • “AUTO”: done by means of an electrical impulse that follows the OFF-ON sequence.

Applications

The MT-TSD series are motorized automatic switches that can be operated remotely and are valid for any application that requires remote connection/disconnection.
They are also used as a circuit breaker associated with automatic reclosing relays, such as the RGU-10 MT. They are an essential complement to provide overcurrent and earth leakage protection with automatic reclosing.
