    Description

    The LOC universal optical reader is a vital metering and programming element for CIRWATT meters.

    Applications

    The optical reader is a two-directional infrared interface with galvanic insulation. When connected to the serial port or USB of a PC, it allows the communications with meters or any other device, in compliance with the IEC 1107 international Standard. The reader does not require an external power supply, obtaining the energy required for the communications through the PC.
