On the evening of Saturday, 8 July, around 700 people attended Circutor's facilities in Viladecavalls to enjoy a great party as a family. The Family Day began with a guided tour of the facilities and featured various games, activities and workshops for both young and old alike, all livened up with a magic show and live music.
The event offered up all kinds of speeches that highlighted the importance of each person who is or has been part of Circutor over this half century.
It was made clear that since its founding in 1973, Circutor has been a family company that is still growing to this day; over these 50 years, it went from 3 people to the 900+ who make up the group today. In the words of its current chairman and one of its founders, Ramón Comellas "at Circutor, we are much more than a business, we have always been a family and we want to continue being one". Also taking part in the speeches were Núria Comellas and Joan Comellas, second-generation family members and CEOs of Circutor, who expressed their pride at being able to continue their father's legacy, to keep Circutor as a market leader in solutions for electrical energy efficiency, where people continue to be the main asset to maintain the engaging and innovative nature that characterizes them.
The HR Director, Marta Puig, was tasked with kicking off the party. As a surprise, two of the most veteran workers at Circutor, Núria Albinyana and Josep García, representing all their colleagues, also gave emotional speeches. All of them noted "the innovative nature of the company and its people as a key element to ensuring that Circutor's culture and values become differentiating elements", and all wanted to thank the President and founder Ramón Comellas for his tireless dedication at the head of the company.
