The Calibrations department carries out all the activities listed in TECHNICAL ANNEX No 229/LC10.187, which spans a wide range of electrical parameters.
The Testing Department performs all the activities listed in Technical ANNEX No 1370/LE2532, and particularly Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC/EMI), Electrical and Environmental Safety tests, along with a wide variety of mechanical tests.
We evaluate how well electrical and electronic products comply with EMC/EMI requirements, as per Directive 2014/30/EU, for marketing and determining compliance with a wide range of standards and specifications. Immunity tests for radiated interference (RF fields, ESD, magnetic fields at grid frequency, etc.) and conducted interference (EFT, surges, RF induced signals, etc.). We help customers and manufacturers conduct preliminary testing during the development phase of their products.
We conduct dry heat, cold, damp heat, accelerated ageing, temperature and humidity tests on electrical and electronic products to ensure compliance with manufacturers’ specifications. To do this, our laboratory is equipped with a set of environmental chambers with a wide temperature and humidity range that we use to evaluate these requirements.
We evaluate how well electrical and electronic products comply with electrical safety requirements for marketing and product compliance purposes. We have all the tools and capabilities to help customers and manufacturers in the design phases, and to carry out the relevant tests.
We carry out drop, IPxx, IKxx and impact tests for electrical and electronic products to ensure compliance with manufacturers’ specifications. To do this, our laboratory is equipped with a wide range of tools that we use to evaluate these requirements.
