Sustainability has become a key element in how we understand our business and in our decision-making. From the design of our solutions to the management of our operations, we have promoted energy efficiency, the responsible use of resources and a reduced environmental impact. We have also integrated social, ethical and governance criteria across all our activity, consolidating sustainability as a cross-cutting pillar aimed at long-term value creation.
Our commitment to sustainability has led us to join the United Nations Global Compact, an initiative that we fully endorse and which strengthens our contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We integrate these principles into our activity in order to move towards a more ethical, responsible and sustainable model. Discover our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) here.
Our environmental performance has been supported by certified management systems such as ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 50001 (energy management), which ensure the control, measurement and continuous improvement of our operations. These standards have enabled us to drive energy efficiency and reduce our environmental impact.
The reduction of our environmental impact has been a priority commitment. We have taken direct action on energy and resource consumption, as well as on the responsible management of waste, incorporating continuous improvements into our processes. We realise that moving towards a more sustainable environment is a shared responsibility, and we actively contribute to this common goal.
We have promoted a responsible supply chain by integrating ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria into supplier selection, assessment and monitoring. We encourage sustainable procurement, the use of responsibly sourced materials and transparency across the entire value chain, fostering relationships based on responsibility and continuous improvement.
We know that sustainability is only possible when people get involved. Because of this, we promote training and awareness-raising in environmental and social initiatives.
From the very beginning, our activity has been directly linked to a responsible way of operating, both in our products and processes and in the impact of our developments on the energy sector. This makes me even more proud of the path we are taking.
Ramón Comellas, Chairman of Circutor.
We continue to shift towards decarbonised energy models, in keeping with European climate targets and the Paris Agreement, reducing our emissions and improving the performance of our operations, actively contributing to the transition towards a carbon-neutral economy by 2050, with a focus on developing solutions aimed at energy efficiency. We reduce our emissions and continue improving the performance of our operations. We calculate and verify our carbon footprint in accordance with recognised standards. We are committed to the Voluntary Agreements Programme for the Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, promoted by the Government of Catalonia.
We are phasing in circularity throughout the entire life cycle of our products, from eco-design through to use and end of life. Our aim is to develop increasingly durable and efficient solutions that allow us to make better use of resources and move towards a more responsible model.
We are reinforcing the involvement of suppliers, partners and employees in shared sustainability objectives, making progress in the measurement and transparency of ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria. Our goal is to generate a positive impact beyond our organisation and, together with our stakeholders, contribute to a more responsible environment.
Our trajectory has always been linked to innovation; it defines who we are and guides who we want to become. It is the driving force that enables us to develop solutions that transform energy management, making it more efficient, intelligent and lowering our environmental impact.
