CVM-B100 and CVM-B150 are state-of-the-art power analyzers that are capable of monitoring more than 500 electrical variables and can also efficiently quantify and manage electrical energy consumption. Thanks to its wide range of expansion modules, the analyzer can be adapted to suit all of your needs. Its modularity allows further performance features to be added through its wide variety of expansion modules, with the purpose of achieving full control over any installation.

Quantify the CO2 emissions of your installation. Record the total emissions, by production process or tariff, to generate customized energy efficiency studies.

Control the consumption of the installation in EUROS (or a different currency), either in terms of its total cost , production process or by tariff. You will be able to classify the different costs and anticipate bills or calculate EnPI's.

Control the working time of your devices. This information will help you to anticipate maintenance actions on different machines or installed loads.

Static capacitor banks advantages

For many years now, power factor correction has been one of the first steps to improving the energy efficiency of installations. Since their beginnings, compensation techniques have grown and developed over the years, adapting to new needs (basically the types of loads that must be compensated) and to new technologies that have become available.

At first, the most common compensation technique was to use capacitor banks with contactor operation. This compensation system is optimal for balanced systems and to compensate loads with connection and disconnection rates that are not too fast, on the order of seconds, and it is currently the most common system in most installations despite increasing numbers of unbalanced installations.

The passage of time and the growing use of more dynamic loads in many installations has led to the emergence of a new technique: the use of static contactors (solid-state relays or thyristors) to operate the capacitors in a capacitor bank.

Energy efficiency, self-consumption and electric vehicle charging

The agreement signed in February 2014 between FEC (Future Energy Consulting Services GmbH) and CIRCUTOR to promote and develop activities related to marketing energy efficiency and solar energy solutions has begun to see results.

This first year of working together has resulted in the development of three projects that deliver the perfect combination of environmental sustainability, economic viability and social outreach for companies as varied as a car dealership and a vegetable processing and packing plant in Southern Spain.

The FEC group includes the development company PROCONSULT and the SOLAREC engineering company specialised in implementing solar energy systems. They have both worked with CIRCUTOR on the design, construction and start-up of the first three projects of a long list that will be refined in the upcoming months.

Efficient management of telecommunications systems

Telecommunications companies need to adapt their traditional management systems to other more robust and efficient ones. Nowadays, on-site management in the different centres is no longer sufficient. Success lies in automating the different control systems to obtain high quality installations that are reliable and available.

The most critical point to bear in mind in telecommunications installations is ensuring supply continuity, because any incident of this type leads to serious complaints from users, and also requires human presence to fix the problem. However, another important aspect is controlling energy in a way that managers can remotely monitor and control each station to take immediate actions.

CIRCUTOR builds a school in India with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation

on .

As part of the events to celebrate CIRCUTOR's 40th anniversary, the company partnered with the Vicente Ferrer Foundation (NGO) to launch a fundraising campaign to build an educational centre in India, located in the Dharmavaram area of the Bathalapalli region, in the village of Chennekothapalli.

Today, we can announce that construction of the educational centre is finished and we are happy to report that the contributions of CIRCUTOR's workers and that of the company itself have helped make this project a reality.

From now on 51 primary students – 27 girls and 24 boys – will have a space for tutoring before and after school hours and the community will have a meeting space, strengthening the sense of belonging and the organisation of CDCs (Community Development Committees).

This project ensures the right to education of the boys and girls of Chennekothapalli village through the construction of the supplementary school, guaranteeing that they can face the future on an equal footing.

We would like to thank everyone for their collaboration in achieving this objective that is so important in social terms.

 

 

The Vicente Ferrer Foundation is a development-focused NGO committed to the process of transforming and improving the living conditions of the most disadvantaged communities of Andhra Pradesh, which is not only one of the poorest areas in India but also one of the poorest and most excluded communities in the world.
