Many different electric vehicle recharging applications are available in Interurban roads, which are growing with the evolution of the automotive market to models with a higher autonomy, so that solutions must be set forth for this potential market in the medium term.
Out of cities and in the Metropolitan environment, vehicles drive through roads, highways, motorways or dual carriageways. Each has unique features.
To recharge a vehicle on an Interurban road, we must think that the driver can rest while recharging the vehicle or that it must stop during the shortest possible time when it has reached its consumption limit, so that we must design quick recharging systems.
Currently, and while no other business centres appear, the points where the vehicle will stop to recharge its batteries will be service stations or resting areas, requiring an autonomous or smart solution in each case.
Solution for gas stations
A quick recharging system has been designed for gas stations, available for the single and three-phase networks. The type of quick recharge terminal is optimum for this type of installations, where users can rest 15 to 30 minutes and fully recharge their vehicle.
A minimum supply power of 40 kW will be required for a quick recharging process, depending on the model.
