The energy company E.ON<\/a> has received an award for one of “The 100 Best Ideas” by the \u201cRecargo<\/a>\u201d photovoltaic charging project<\/strong> for vehicles. The project is a collaboration with other companies Urbaser<\/a> and CIRCUTOR<\/strong>, and it is the third year that E.ON has received this electric mobility<\/a> award.<\/p>\n

The project is an innovative solution in Europe for managing electric vehicle charging<\/a> in companies, using the sun as a source of energy for instantaneous self-consumption<\/a>. This project was carried out at the installations of Urbaser with the technological collaboration of CIRCUTOR.<\/p>\n

Optimum photovoltaic charging results<\/h2>\n

The photovoltaic charging solution can result in savings<\/strong> of \u20ac3,200 a year, with an annual return<\/strong> on investment of 4.5%, in addition to saving nearly a tonne of CO2 emissions<\/strong> per year. In this sense, it is not only a tool for saving money, but for rationalising energy use, better operational management and better environmental friendliness.<\/p>\n

All about the vehicle charging solution<\/h2>\n

Energy measurement and control<\/strong> units (CIRCUTOR <\/strong>EDS<\/a> and EDS 3G<\/a>, CVM analyzers<\/a> were used to control photovoltaic generation and energy use. Once the measurements were taken, the data was analysed and monitored using PowerStudio SCADA energy management software.<\/p>\n

The solar kit: self-consumption solution for all types of installations<\/h2>\n

CIRCUTOR has developed modular solar energy solutions<\/strong> (self-consumption solar kit<\/a>)to provide an instantaneous self-consumption solution with energy savings to the general public. These solutions are especially designed for small and medium-scale installations and are available through any sales channel. They also include the necessary components to comply with regulations on photovoltaic installations for instantaneous self-consumption<\/a>.<\/p>\n
